Changes to my study programs

Imagen
Hello people. Today i'm going to tell you about my study program and what changes i would make to it. As i have mentioned in last blogs, i am in the second year of Chemistry and Pharmacy, and although i wouldn't complain about the subjects we have, i think many subjects are unnecesary requirements to other subjects. For example Phisichochemistry has five subjects as requirements, and i don't think all of them are ok as its requirements. At the same time, Phisichochemistry, together with Organic Chemistry 2, is required for coursing Biochemistry, and i think that is not well-planned (specifically for Phisichochemistry), once i read in a non-official programme, that the requirements for Biochemistry would be Organic Chemistry 2 and Systems Physiollogy, that would make me more sense. On the other hand, in the last study programme of the career there was Anatomy as a subject, but it was deleted in the current programme, and i don't think it was fine because i think a pharma...

Personal Opinions

Hello everyone! Today i'm gonna tell you my personal opinion about some "polemical" issues. In the present days i think women in the military shouldn't be a matter of discussion, and luckily it only is at an opinion level, and not at a legal or institutional level. It is clear that your sex doesn't determinate how good you are at something in despite the fact that men and women have some biological differences that could mean some advantages or disadvantages for certain things, but extrapolating that at the point of saying "men/women shouldn't dedicate at this" is just absurd to me. I'm sure a woman could be great militar professional, and that has been more than demostrated, there are lot of women who have made a career at the military with an excellent performance, so why there should be so much controversy about it?.  In relation of clonning, i think it is a field that has many advantages, like for example, protecting endangered species, and a...

Plans about Postgraudate

Imagen
Hello everyone. Today i'm telling you about my postgraduate plans. As i mentioned in the last post, i'm still at the initial part of the undergraduate, and i couldn't tell you what exactly my postgraduate studies will be about, but one thing i know for certain is i do want to make a postgraduate, and i say if i already have a doctorate on January 22, 2034, the day i turn fourty, then i'd feel that i did it well in this life in spite of all my mistakes and falls (not for nothing i'm only in the second year at the age of 26), but of course it may be something related to pharmacology, biochemistry, or even only chemistry, because i like it very much too. Some of the reasons for me to want to course a postgraduate are, firstly, because it increases your posibilities for getting job, and today more and more highly prestigious institutions require a doctoral degree for teaching in, and it also can increase your salary, which is not a low-importance matter. And of course,...

My future job

Imagen
Hello people. Today i'm telling you what i expect from my future job. As you can read in my blogger name, the major i'm studying is Pharmacy, (literally chemistry and pharmacy, but as far as i know, in english we would say only pharmacy). I chose this career because it combines science and health, and i've been told that the salaries are, in general, not bad at all.  There is a lot of areas in which a pharmacist can be involved, and honestly i'm not really sure of what exactly i want to work in, because i'm just in the second year and i need to experience with the different pharmaceutical areas as i progress in the degree to take that choice. However, i like the clinic area and so investigation, and teaching at university sounds good to me as well. For now i can say i can imagine myself some years from now working indoors in a hospital or doing investigation which sometimes could imply working outdoors, but preferably i wouldn't be working at a drugstore, becaus...
