My future job

Hello people. Today i'm telling you what i expect from my future job. As you can read in my blogger name, the major i'm studying is Pharmacy, (literally chemistry and pharmacy, but as far as i know, in english we would say only pharmacy). I chose this career because it combines science and health, and i've been told that the salaries are, in general, not bad at all.

There is a lot of areas in which a pharmacist can be involved, and honestly i'm not really sure of what exactly i want to work in, because i'm just in the second year and i need to experience with the different pharmaceutical areas as i progress in the degree to take that choice. However, i like the clinic area and so investigation, and teaching at university sounds good to me as well. For now i can say i can imagine myself some years from now working indoors in a hospital or doing investigation which sometimes could imply working outdoors, but preferably i wouldn't be working at a drugstore, because i've heard that it is more like working as a salesperson than as a pharmacist, and it doesn't sound very interesting.

Another point is that i would like very much to live and work in another country, and that's for one side, but by the other side, i like my faculty very much, and if i get to make a very important work on the area, like for example finding the cure for an illness that has no one at this moment, i'd like to make it representing the Faculty of Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Chile. It's difficut to make decisions in life sometimes!
